Photography Book, 2024

I’ve been exploring photography again after so many years without a camera. In 2024, I bought my first film camera and learned everything I could about film processing at home and all the techniques. Decided then to create a book for myself with my first 6 months of film photography. As a designer, I have always dreamed of designing books. A photography book is easy enough. It was a super fun process, from selecting the photos to finally blowing the dust out of InDesign. It’s a nice coffee table book. I’m proud of myself on this one.

Creative Doc, 2021

Creative Doc promotes Brazilian design through interviews, articles, and curated projects. Founded in 2014 by me, it has highlighted the stories of designers, founders, and creative entrepreneurs. After 9 years leading this project, it evolved to be a part of the UX Collective family, sharing essays about UX and design.

Dupla Studios, 2021

Dupla is a user experience and digital product studio based in Seattle, WA. Collaborating closely with the co-founders, I helped refresh their visual identity and typography. Known for turning complexity into clarity through research and design, Dupla’s new identity reflects this mindset—bold, articulate, and expressive. The expanded bracket form from their logo became a flexible system for both minimal and conceptual compositions. Motion by Manoel.

Orto, 2020

Orto is an exhibition organized by Casa Diária (São Paulo) featuring my hand-made illustration series Linhas and Estudos Geométricos. Meaning “the beginning” in Portuguese, Orto merges my interests in design, code, music, and art. Its minimalist visual language emphasizes geometry, repetition, and bold color contrasts—highlighting each piece while tying together digital and physical expressions of design.

This experimental piece was created with pen plotters in mind. Made with Javascript/P5JS. I love textures and geometric shapes, so there’s not much else to say.

Limites, 2023

Series of acrylic paintings I made in 2021. This series reflects on how life unfolds through a grid of choices: lines drawn between points and intersections. Each work explores the relationship between direction, structure, and how we perceive color within a defined space. The grid becomes both a system and a metaphor.

Geminis, 2022

Series of pieces made on Processing and post-processed in After Effects. The goal was to exercise the use of 3D shapes overlapped on top of each other, creating Moiré patterns.
